CLEMSON, SC… Clemson University senior Waylon H. Priester of Brunson was recently elected president of the Clemson University Collegiate FFA Organization, according to John W. Parris, state director of public affairs with the SC FFA Association.
Priester, an active member and officer of the Barnwell County Career Center FFA Chapter, graduated from Barnwell High School in 2005 and enrolled in Horry-Georgetown Technical College where he majored in Forestry. After graduating from the technical college, he enrolled at Clemson University where he is continuing to major in Forestry.
In addition to serving as president of the Collegiate FFA Organization, Priester is also an Ambassador for the College of Agriculture, Forestry and Life Sciences.
The mission of the FFA is to make a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through Agricultural Education.
