CLEMSON, SC….Former state FFA vice president Emmanuel Bankston of Beaufort, SC, is serving as president of the Clemson University Cattlemen’s Association, according to John W. Parris, state director of public affairs with the SC FFA organization.
Bankston, a sophomore at Clemson University majoring in Agricultural Education and the SC Beef Ambassador for 2010, has previously served as the SC Farm Bureau Youth Ambassador.
“The Clemson University Cattlemen’s Association provides a unique opportunity for university students who are owners of beef cattle or preparing for a career as a beef producer or animal scientist to participate in events such as the SC Junior Beef Round-Up by assisting younger students who show beef cattle in competition for scholarships and other recognition,” Bankston said.
