CORZINE NAMED STATE’S OUTSTANDING YOUNG FARMER-AGRIBUSINESS ADVISOR
Chris Corzine (left) with Jerry PaceCOLUMBIA, SC…Chris Corzine, Agricultural Education Teacher at Crescent High School, Iva, SC, was named the Outstanding Young Farmer-Agribusiness Advisor in South Carolina by the SC Young Farmer-Agribusiness Association at its state conference in Hilton Head, January 21-23, according to John W. Parris, State Director of Public Affairs with the association.
The prestigious award, sponsored by Sunbelt Landscaping of Myrtle Beach, SC, was presented by Jerry Pace, an official with the company.
Under the leadership of Mr. Corzine, the Crescent Young Farmer-Agribusiness Chapter was recently named the Outstanding Post Secondary Agricultural Education Program in the Southern States and one of the top six in the nation.
The Young Farmer-Agribusiness organization is the primary Adult Education component of Agricultural Education Departments in South Carolina schools.
