AGRICULTURAL EDUCATORS MEETING AT CLEMSON UNIVERSITY

Agricultural Educators from throughout South Carolina are meeting at Clemson University July 11-13 for a professional development and recognition conference, according to John W. Parris, State Director of Public Affairs for Agricultural Education..

Seminars on Land Use, Agronomy, Animal Science, Agricultural Engineering, Greenhouse Management, Heirloom Gardens and National Agricultural Equipment Safety Certification will be held.

“An awards ceremony will recognize the Outstanding Agricultural Educator and the Outstanding Agricultural Education Program in South Carolina”, Parris said.

W. Pat Earle, agricultural education teacher at McBee High School, McBee, SC, is president of the State Agricultural Educators Association. Steve McCannon, Agricultural Education teacher at B.J. Skelton Career Center in Easley, is president-elect.
