KEOWN IS OUTSTANDING YOUNG AG EDUCATOR IN SC

COLUMBIA, SC…Tim Keown, a member of the faculty at Crescent High School, Iva, SC, has been named the Outstanding Young Agricultural Educator in South Carolina for 2010 by the SC Association of Agricultural Educators, according to John W. Parris, spokesperson for the organization. The award was presented at a special recognition ceremony held at Clemson University.

“Keown has previously been recognized by WYFF-TV in Greenville, SC, with their Golden Apple Award. He was also named Teacher of the Year for 2010 at Crescent High School.,” Mr. Parris said.

A graduate of Clemson University with a BS degree and Masters in Agricultural Education, Keown is in his second year in the Education Leadership Doctoral Program at Clemson.
