ROLLINS ADDRESSES NATIONAL AG EDUCATORS CONFERENCE

CLEMSON, SC….Matt Rollins, agricultural education instructor and FFA advisor at Woodmont High School, Piedmont, SC, recently conducted a professional development workshop at the National Conference of Agricultural Educators in Las Vegas, Nevada, according to John W. Parris, state director of public affairs with the SC FFA organization.

Rollins addressed conference participants on numerous agricultural mechanic skill exercises and projects that can be conducted by instructors in high school agricultural mechanics laboratories.

“Power Point slides were used by Rollins to illustrate skill exercises and completed projects of significant benefit to both rural and urban students,” Parris said. “Electronic copies of materials were made available on a flash-drive so participants could copy them onto personal laptop computers for future use.”

Rollins, a native of Greenville County, is a graduate of Clemson University with a BS degree and a Masters in Agricultural Education.
