The State FFA Officers met with State Representative William D. Witherspoon, Chairman of the House Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee, in the Committee Conference Room in the Blatt State Office Building.

State Representative Marty Coates (left) introduced 2002-03 National FFA Vice President J J Jones from Kansas.  Representative Coates is a former National FFA Officer.

Representative Witherspoon was presented the Honorary American FFA Degree by 2002-03 National FFA Vice President, J J Jones, Ludell, Kansas, at the SC Legislators Appreciation Day Ceremony. Mr. Jones also addressed the group attending the Ceremony.

2002-03 National FFA Vice President J. J. Jones presented Dr. John W. Kelly, Vice President for Public Service and Agriculture at Clemson University, the Honorary American FFA Degree at the State Legislators Appreciation Day Ceremony.
