FLORENCE FFA MEMBERS MAKE BOWS
FOR GOVERNOR'S MANSION
COLUMBIA, SC….FFA members at the Florence Career Center who are enrolled in
Horticulture classes made large, beautiful red bows to decorate the entrances to
the Governor's Mansion for the Christmas season, according to John W. Parris,
State Director of Public Affairs with the SC FFA Association.
Joan Alexander, the Horticulture Teacher at the Center, reports that the bows
are in place and are very attractive. A sign, located inside the mansion,
recognizes the Florence FFA members for their valuable and impressive
contribution.
The mission of the FFA is to make a positive difference in the lives of students
by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career
success through agricultural education.
