LATTA FFA MEMBER IS OUTSTANDING
PARTICIPANT
IN STATE LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE
COLUMBIA, SC…..Abi Brumbles, a member of the Latta High School FFA Chapter, was
named the outstanding participant in the recent State FFA Leadership Training
Conference for chapter officers, according to John W. Parris, State Director of
Public Affairs with the SC FFA Association. The conference was held at the
beautiful White Oak Center near Winnsboro, SC, with FFA members and advisors
from throughout the state in attendance.
Abi represented the Latta FFA Chapter as Reporter. She was accompanied by other
officers and advisor Keith Cox, agricultural education teacher at Latta High
School.
As a result of being selected the outstanding participant in the leadership
conference, Abi was invited to be a guest of Dr. John Kelly, Clemson University
Vice President, in the Public Service and Agriculture Box at the Clemson-Duke
football game this fall. The box is sponsored by friends of agriculture to
provide Clemson officials this unique opportunity to recognize agricultural
leaders.
