ANDERSON I & II TECHNOLOGY CENTER FFA FORESTRY TEAM
TAKES TOP STATE HONORS

 COLUMBIA, SC…..Anderson I & II Technology Center FFA members Zach Haddan, Greg Brewer, Clay Jordan and Chase McCoy won first place honors in the State FFA-sponsored Forestry Finals held in Sumter County recently, according to John W. Parris, State Director of Public Affairs with the SC FFA. Zach  Haddan  was  the  High  Individual  Scorer  and   Chase  McCoy  was  the  Second  High  Scorer  in  the  State  Competition.

 The team members and their advisor Steve McGaha, Agricultural Education Teacher at the Center, won expense-paid trips to the National FFA Convention to be held in Louisville, Kentucky later this year where they will compete in the National Forestry Finals.

 The mission of the FFA is to make a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
