FORT MILL FFA DAIRY FOODS TEAM IN STATE FINALS

CLEMSON, SC…..The Fort Mill High School FFA Dairy Foods Team was named State Runner-Up in the Finals held at Clemson University recently, according to John W. Parris, state director of public affairs with the SC FFA Association.

Team members Rachel Ostendorff, Allison Sellers, Nicole Ross, Allison Rabon and Sarah Stevens were coached by Carrie C. Bolin, Agricultural Science Teacher at Fort Mill.

“Understanding the importance of dairy foods is a major part of the increasing emphasis on food science in agricultural education at the secondary school level”, Parris said.

The mission of the FFA is to make a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
