LEXINGTON FFA OFFICER IS STUDENT OF THE YEAR

 

COLUMBIA, SC….Jacob Powers, Vice President of the Lexington FFA Chapter, has been selected Student of The Year at the Lexington Technology Center, according to John W. Parris, State Director of Public Affairs with the SC FFA Association.

Jacob is also a member of the State Champion FFA Nursery-Landscape Team and will compete in the National Finals at the National FFA Convention in October. Tommy Harmon, Horticulture Teacher at the Center, is his FFA advisor

The mission of the FFA is to make a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
