SOUTH CAROLINA FFA OFFICERS CONDUCT LIVE STATEWIDE
BROADCAST FROM NATIONAL FFA CONVENTION
The State FFA Officer Team from South Carolina conducted a live
statewide radio broadcast from the National FFA Convention on
America’s Radio Talk Show, Thursday afternoon, October 28,
hosted by Andy Thomas in Columbia, SC and moderated by Branchville
High School Agricultural Educator M. Pat Black in Louisville, KY.
Bill Stagg, Director of Communications with the National FFA
Organization, was a special guest on the broadcast which originated
from the Press Room in Freedom Hall, site of the convention.

Shown (left to right) Ethan Sansbury, State Vice President from Latta and Clemson University; Josh O’Rear, State Secretary from Aiken and Clemson University; Bill Stagg; M. Pat Black; Jamie Hughes, State President from Pickens; Jennifer Perkins, State Vice President from Myrtle Beach and Clemson University and Ashley King, State Vice President from Manning where she is a senior in high school.
State Vice President Jonathan Dorn from Calhoun Falls and Erskine College was competing in the National FFA Environmental Science Finals and had to miss the broadcast.
The broadcast was planned and coordinated by John W. Parris, State Director of Public Affairs with the SC FFA Association.
