COLUMBIA, SC…State FFA President Jamie Hughes of Pickens and Josh O’Rear of Aiken and Clemson University attended a Joint State Conference of the South Carolina Young Farmer-Agribusiness Association and the Agricultural Educators Association at the Westin Resort in Hilton Head, January 21-23, 2005, according to John W. Parris, State Director of Public Affairs for the organizations.Hughes addressed the Young Farmer-Agribusiness Awards Luncheon and O’Rear addressed a training session of the SC Agricultural Educators group.
The Young Farmer-Agribusiness Organization is the primary Adult Education component of local Agricultural Education Departments in South Carolina schools.
