KING NAMED STATE FFA OFFICER
CLEMSON, SC….Ashley King of Manning, SC, was elected State Vice President of the SC Future Farmers of America (FFA) Association at Clemson University recently, according to John W. Parris, State Director of Public Affairs with the SC FFA.
A rising senior at Manning High School, Ashley is immediate past vice president of the FFA chapter. She was a member of the State FFA Parliamentary Procedure Team in 2003 and competed in the finals at the National FFA Convention in Louisville, Kentucky.
A member of the Beta Club, Ashley is also involved in the Future Business Leaders of America and an active member of the Green Hill Baptist Church.
After graduation from high school, Ashley is considering attending Florida A & M University to major in Agricultural Business.
Michael Haynes, Agricultural Education Teacher at Manning High, is Ashley’s FFA Advisor.
