STATE FFA OFFICERS PARTICIPATE IN MCLEOD FARMS PEACH FESTIVAL
MCBEE, SC...State FFA President Jamie V. Hughes of
Pickens, SC, and State Secretary Josh T.
O'Rear of Aiken, SC, participated in the McLeod
Farms Peach Festival near McBee, SC, on Saturday, July 17. The officers were
accompanied by David and Susan O'Rear and John W. Parris.
The officers met with Campbell McLeod who is one of the owners and officials of McLeod Farms. They also met other members of the McLeod family and were given a personal tour of the Peach Pack House while it was in operation. The tour was led by Alec McLeod, a member of the McBee FFA Chapter and a student at Clemson University.
The State Officers also met with Jerry Holley, Chairman of the Chesterfield County School District, while at the Festival.
