WASHINGTON, DC…State FFA President Jamie Hughes of Pickens, SC,
andJosh O’Rear, State Secretary from Aiken, SC, represented South
Carolina at a National FFA Leadership Conference in Washington,
DC, July 20-24, 2004, according to John W. Parris, state Director

The conference, conducted by the National FFA Officers, was sponsored by the Chevrolet Motor Division and the General Motors Acceptance Corporation (GMAC) as a special project of the National FFA Foundation.
They also spent considerable time preparing for their responsibilities as delegates and committee chairs at the National FFA Convention set for Louisville, Kentucky, October 27-30.
