AYNOR FFA TEAM TO COMPETE IN NATIONAL FINALS

COLUMBIA, SC….The Aynor High School FFA Farm Business Management Team will compete in the National Finals at the National FFA Convention in Louisville, Kentucky, October 26-29, according to John W. Parris, State Director of Public Affairs with the SC FFA Association.

Team members Mary Shaw, Jamel Davis and Jaime Edwards along with Stacey Bazen, Agricultural Education Teacher and FFA Advisor at Aynor High School, were awarded expense-paid trips to the National FFA Convention after being named the state champion team at Clemson University earlier this year. Mary Shaw was the second high individual scorer and Jaime Edwards was the third high scorer in the state finals.

The mission of the 490,000 member FFA Organization is to make a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
