BERRY RECEIVES AGRICULTURAL LEADERSHIP AWARD

CLEMSON, SC…Blake Berry of Fountain Inn has been named recipient of the John W. Parris Agricultural Leadership Award presented by the Clemson Collegiate FFA Organization, according to Dr. Tom Dobbins, Program Coordinator for Agricultural Education at Clemson University and Advisor to the FFA group.

“Berry, a senior at Clemson University majoring in Agricultural Education, is Vice President of the Collegiate FFA and a former president of the SC FFA Association”, Dr. Dobbins said. “He was named the State FFA Star in Agribusiness while a student at Hillcrest High School”, he added.

A recent recipient of a $2500 college scholarship from the National Association of Agricultural Educators, Berry has studied at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland in addition to Clemson University.

The son of Michael and Rebecca Berry of Fountain Inn, Berry is preparing for a career in agricultural education.
