Drew Cheatham of Strom Thurmond Career Center is recognized as a finalist
in the State FFA Star Farmer competition.
CHEATHAM NAMED FINALIST IN STATE FFA STAR FARMER COMPETITION
COLUMBIA, SC….Drew Cheatham, a 2005 graduate of Strom Thurmond High School and president of the Strom Thurmond Career Center FFA Chapter, was named a finalist in the State FFA Star Farmer competition for 2004, according to John W. Parris, State Director of Public Affairs for Agricultural Education.
Drew was recognized at the recent State FFA Convention held on the Clemson University campus.
He will enter Clemson University this fall to major in Horticulture and later pursue an advanced degree in Landscape Architecture.
His FFA Advisors are Hugh Bland and Dan Henderson, Agricultural Education Teachers at the career center.
