FOGLE IS STATE FFA STAR IN AGRIBUSINESS FINALIST
COLUMBIA, SC……Steve Fogle, a member of the Edisto High School FFA Chapter, Cordova, SC, was recognized as a State FFA Star In Agribusiness Finalist at the recent State FFA Convention held on the Clemson University campus, according to John W. Parris, State Director of Public Affairs with the SC FFA Association.
Steve is employed at the Plant Depot In Orangeburg where he is a landscaper and salesman. In addition to maintaining the bedding plants and nursery stock, he handles customer inquires, markets the plants and operates the bulk mulch business. He has achieved more than 500 hours of experience at the garden center.
His participation in FFA includes attending the National FFA Leadership Conference in Washington, DC, and the National FFA Convention. His career development event activities include competition in Dairy Evaluation, Dairy Products, Livestock Evaluation and Tractor Operation.
An Honor Roll student, Steve is a son of Gordon and Martha Fogle of Cope. His FFA Advisor is Barry Hawkins, Agricultural Education teacher a Edisto High School.
