SC FFA MEMBER TO APPEAR ON NATIONAL TV SHOW
COLUMBIA, SC….Alex D. Gleason of Calhoun Falls, SC, a former state FFA vice president, will appear on the RFD-TV Satellite Network’s National FFA Show, Monday evening, November 21 at 8 PM, according to John W. Parris, State Director of Public affairs with the SC FFA Organization.
Gleason, a junior at Erskine College on full scholarship, biked coast-to-coast across America for nearly two months this summer to raise awareness of proper nutrition and healthy living.

Calling his campaign Expedition Nutrition, Alex will challenge America’s youth to change habits to a healthy lifestyle and offer healthy eating tips for the upcoming holidays.
Other features on the show will include highlights of the recent National FFA Convention in Louisville, Ky., and holiday gift ideas from FFAWear.
A news roundup will recognize agri-science teacher Bill Davenport of Connecticut who was selected as a USA TODAY Teacher of the Year and introduce the new National FFA president and secretary.
