COLUMBIA, SC….The Manning High School FFA Agricultural Issues Team will compete in the National Finals at the National FFA Convention in Louisville, Kentucky, October 26-29, according to John W. Parris, State Director of Public Affairs with the SC FFA Association.
Team members Letitia Ard, Philip Murray, Jessica Smith, Barrick Stukes, Katrina Brunson and Robert Ridgeway along with Michael Haynes, Agricultural Education Teacher and FFA Advisor at Manning High School, were awarded expense-paid trips to the National FFA Convention after being named the state champion team at Clemson University earlier this year.
The mission of the FFA is to make a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
