MANNING FFA GREENHAND KNOWLEDGE BOWL TEAM TAKES TOP STATE HONORS

The Manning High School FFA Greenhand Knowledge Bowl Team took top state honors at Clemson University earlier this year, according to John W. Parris, State Director of Public Affairs with the SC FFA Association. “The FFA Greenhand Knowledge Bowl Competition is limited to first year agricultural education students”, Parris said.

Team members Allison Ragin, Brooke Smith, Lukas King and Heather Cantey along with Michael Haynes, Agricultural Education Teacher and FFA Advisor at Manning High School, were awarded expense paid trips to the National FFA Convention scheduled in Louisville, Kentucky, October 26-29.

The mission of the FFA is to make a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
