PERDUE WINS SCHOLARSHIP AT STATE FAIR
COLUMBIA, SC….Keri Perdue, a member of the Chesterfield FFA Chapter, was awarded a $1500 college scholarship by the SC Farm Bureau Federation at the 2005 State Fair, according to John W. Parris, State Director of Public Affairs with the SC FFA Association.
Selection for the scholarship is based on a written test, showmanship abilities and overall knowledge of the swine industry.
Chalmers Mikell, an official with the SC Farm Bureau Federation, presented the check to Keri.
Keri is the daughter of Gregg and Johnnie Gaskins of Chesterfield, SC. Her FFA Advisor is Beth Whisenhunt, Agricultural Education Teacher at Chesterfield High School.
