BARNHILL TOP SCORER IN STATE SOIL JUDGING FINALS

COLUMBIA, SC….Devin Barnhill, a member of the Aynor High School FFA Soil Judging Team, was the high individual scorer in the State Soil Judging Finals held recently in Edgefield County, according to John W. Parris, State Director of Public Affairs with the SC FFA Organization.

Devin was awarded an expense-paid trip to the National FFA Convention to be held next year in Indianapolis, Indiana, in recognition of his superb achievement in the natural resource science competition. He will also join his fellow team members by participating in the National Land Judging Competition in Oklahoma next May.

His FFA Advisor is Stacey Bazen, Agricultural Education Teacher at Aynor High School.

The mission of the FFA is to make a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
