EARLE AND WRIGHT ADDRESS AGRICULTURAL ISSUES CONFERENCE
COLUMBIA, SC…W. Pat Earle, Agricultural Education Teacher at McBee High School, and Allen Wright, President of the McBee FFA Chapter, were among the featured speakers at an Agricultural Issues Conference sponsored by the Darlington County Young Farmer and Agribusiness Chapter on January 31, 2006, according to John W. Parris, state director of public affairs with the SC FFA Association.
State Commissioner of Agriculture Hugh Weathers also addressed the group along with other agricultural industry leaders and Darlington County educational officials.
The conference, attended by more than one hundred farmers, other agribusiness leaders and FFA members, was coordinated by Don Boice, an official with Pee Dee Farm Credit, in concert with local Agricultural Educators Bert Beasley and Al Gray who serve as advisors to the Young Farmer-Agribusiness Chapter. A delicious dinner was sponsored by Pee Dee Farm Credit.
FFA officers and members from Lamar, Hartsville and McBee High Schools attended the conference.
