DAVIS NAMED OUTSTANDING AGRICULTURAL EDUCATOR

CLEMSON, SC…Jerry Davis, recently retired from Indian Land High School, Fort Mill, SC, has been recognized as the Outstanding Agricultural Education Teacher in South Carolina by the Clemson Collegiate FFA Organization, according to John W. Parris, state director of public affairs with the SC FFA Association.

The presentation was made to Mr. Davis at an awards and recognition banquet held at the historic Pendleton Farmers Hall on the square in downtown Pendleton, SC.

A graduate of North Carolina State University with BS and MS Degrees in Agricultural Education, Mr. Davis served as Agricultural Education teacher at Indian Land High School for seven years prior to retiring in 2005. He had held a similar position in North Carolina for 31 years before joining the Indian Land faculty.
