HARTSVILLE FFA ADVISOR AND FFA MEMBERS ATTEND AGRICULTURAL ISSUES CONFERENCE
COLUMBIA, SC….Al Gray, Agricultural Education Teacher and FFA Advisor at Hartsville High School, along with FFA officers and members, attended an Agricultural Issues Conference at Lamar High School on January 31, 2006.
The conference, attended by more than one hundred agriculturalists, was sponsored by the Darlington County Young Farmer and Agribusiness Chapter. Don Boice, an official with Pee Dee Farm Credit, coordinated the event in concert with Agricultural Education teachers Bert Beasley and Al Gray. The dinner was sponsored by Pee Dee Farm Credit.
State Commissioner of Agriculture Hugh Weathers was a featured speaker along with W. Pat Earle, Agricultural Education Teacher at McBee High School, Allen Wright, President of the McBee FFA Chapter, and other agribusiness leaders and educators.
