CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL ADULT AGRICULTURAL EDUCATION PROGRAM NAMED TOPS IN THE SOUTH

COLUMBIA, SC…..The Adult Division of the Agricultural Education Department at Central High School, Pageland, SC, has been named the Outstanding Program in the Southern States and one of the top six in the nation by the National Association of Agricultural Educators, according to John W. Parris, state director of public affairs with the SC Agricultural Educators organization.

Tim Maye, Agricultural Education teacher at Central High School, recently received the prestigious award at the annual conference of the National Association of Agricultural Educators in Kansas City, Missouri.

“Mr. Maye and Ashli Young, the other Agricultural Education teacher at Central High School, are known and respected throughout the south for their exemplary leadership in planning and implementing a superb Adult Agricultural Education Program,” Parris said.

Maye was awarded an expense-paid trip to the national conference by the SC Agricultural Educators Association.
