MIDLAND VALLEY FFA CHAPTER TO BE HIGHLIGHTED ON NATIONAL TV
COLUMBIA, SC….The Midland Valley High School FFA Chapter will be highlighted on RFD-TV’s one-hour program known as THIS WEEK IN AGRI-BUSINESS shown during the weekend of April 29, 2006, according to John W. Parris, state director of public affairs with the SC FFA organization.
The Midland Valley FFA Chapter is among those outstanding chapters from throughout the nation selected to be highlighted on the national television program.
The telecast, hosted by nationally recognized farm broadcasters Orion Samuelson and Max Armstrong, will be aired four times: 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM EST, Saturday, April 29; 6:00 PM on Sunday, April 30; and 9:00 AM Monday, May 1.
RFD-TV is available on Dish Network Channel 9409 or Direct TV Channel 379 and currently reaches more than 27 million homes.
Jeremy Brooks, Agricultural Education teacher at Midland Valley High School, serves as advisor to the local chapter. This is also the home chapter of State FFA Vice President Shane Grice.
