NATIONAL FFA CONVENTION TO BE TELEVISED
COLUMBIA, SC….The National FFA Convention which was held in Louisville, KY, October 26-29, 2005, will be televised on the RFD-TV Satellite Network during January and February 2006, according to John W. Parris, state director of public affairs with the SC FFA Association.
The telecast will be carried on the RFD-TV Satellite Network at DISH-TV 9409, Direct TV 379, Mediacom and NCTC cable systems.
The first segment to be televised in the new year will be on Monday, January 2, at 8 PM, hosted by Orion Samuelson and Max Armstrong, co-anchors of the weekly US Farm Report TV Show.

“FFA members and supporters of the national agricultural education organization are encouraged to experience the energy and excitement of America’s largest youth convention by watching the RFD-TV coverage of the National FFA Convention”, Parris said. “More than 50,000 FFA members representing every state, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands, attended the four day event”, he added.
RFD-TV is the first 24-hour television network dedicated to serving the needs and interests of American agriculturalists. Currently, the RFD-TV Network is available to more than 24 million homes.
