COLUMBIA, SC…Ethan Sansbury, a member of the Latta High School FFA Chapter, was awarded the prestigious American FFA Degree at a ceremony held in Columbia at the State Capitol during National FFA Week, according to John W. Parris, state director of public affairs with the SC FFA organization.
“The American FFA Degree is the highest award presented by the National FFA Organization to a select number of members from throughout the nation who have excelled in their supervised agricultural training experience, leadership ability and academic achievement”, Parris said.
A former state FFA officer, Ethan is a sophomore at Clemson University majoring in Agricultural Education.
His FFA advisor is Annette Kirton, Agricultural Education teacher, at Latta High School.
The mission of the FFA is to make a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
