WAGGONER INTERVIEWED FOR UPSTATE REGION RADIO SHOW
PENDLETON, SC…State FFA Secretary Emily Waggoner of Pendleton was recently interviewed by Paul Brown of Anderson, a well known radio and television news reporter in the up-state, according to John W. Parris, state director of public affairs with the SC FFA Association. Mr. Brown’s news interviews are heard regularly on Radio Station WRIX AM and FM in Anderson, SC, as well as other media outlets.
The interview originated from the milk tank room on the Waggoner dairy farm near Pendleton. Emily, a freshman at Clemson University majoring in Animal and Veterinary Science, discussed her experiences as a dairy farmer and state FFA officer. Other subjects discussed included supervised agricultural experience programs, leadership training in the FFA and the National FFA Convention.
“The interview will be heard by thousands in the up-state region of South Carolina and northeast Georgia”, Mr. Parris said.
