COLUMBIA, SC….Gene and Lisa Cromer, owners of the Welcome Ranch near Williamston, SC, were presented the Honorary State FFA Degree by State FFA President Amanda Hiott during the recent State FFA Equine Judging Finals held at their ranch, according to John W. Parris, state director of public affairs with the SC FFA organization.
“The Honorary State FFA Degree is the highest honor bestowed upon friends and supporters of the FFA and agricultural education at the state level,” Parris said. “Mr. and Mrs. Cromer are great supporters of the FFA, especially the Equine Science program, and are most deserving of this prestigious award,” he added.
The mission of the FFA is to make a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success.
