DOOLITTLE AWARDED SCHOLARSHIPS
Ashley Doolittle, immediate past president of the Strom Thurmond Technology Center FFA Chapter, was awarded the Hilton V. Rogers $500 scholarship by the SC Fertilizer and Agri-Chemicals Association earlier this year.
Ashley received a number of other scholarships including: Strom Thurmond Foundation-$1000; Aiken Electric Cooperative-$1000; National Wild Turkey Federation-$1000; SC Soil and Water Conservation Society-$1000; Johnston Jaycees’ Robert Herlong Memorial Scholarship-$500; Strom Thurmond Class of 1966-$600; and Life Scholarship-$5000.
A freshman at Clemson University, Ashley is majoring in Wildlife Biology.
Ashley’s Guidance Counselor at Strom Thurmond Technology Center is Mrs. Patricia Bryan and her FFA Advisors are Hugh Bland and Dan Henderson, Agricultural Education Teachers at the Center.
