FFA DAY AT CLEMSON UNIVERSITY
CLEMSON, SC…Clemson University’s College of Agriculture, Forestry and Life Sciences has designated Saturday, September 30, 2006, as FFA Day in Death Valley, according to John W. Parris, state director of public affairs with the SC FFA Association. .
Activities for FFA members will get underway at 11:00 AM in the McGinty Mall located between the Plant and Animal Science Building, Lehotsky Hall, Barre Hall and McAdams Hall. An information session and an authentic tailgate lunch experience under the tents will prepare everyone for the 1:00 PM game kick-off between the Clemson Tigers and Louisiana Tech Bulldogs.
This special event for FFA members is being planned and conducted by Katie Hulse, Coordinator of Student Relations and Recruitment with the College of Agriculture, Forestry and Life Sciences, who has arranged for a special ticket price of $10 for FFA members, a tailgate lunch for $7 and a souvenir t-shirt and pom-pom for $8. FFA members may purchase a partial package of the items mentioned above. Ticket prices for FFA advisors, chaperones and other adults will be $16.

“This a great opportunity for FFA members, advisors and supporters to learn about the exciting opportunities available to students in the College of Agriculture, Forestry and Life Sciences and enjoy a football game at the same time,” Parris said. “We expect a tremendous turnout for this event,” he added.
