MYRTLE BEACH FFA GOLF TOURNAMENT
The 9 th annual Myrtle Beach FFA Gold Tournament will be held Saturday, January 27, 2007, at the MyrtleWood Golf Club, 48 th Avenue, Myrtle Beach, SC, according to John W. Parris, state director of public affairs with the SC FFA Association.
Proceeds from this event are used to support the Golf Course and Landscape Technology Program at Carolina Forest High School, according to Harry DuBose, Head of the Horticulture Department and FFA advisor at the school.

“Some of the income from each tournament has enabled the FFA chapter to award more than 25 scholarships to outstanding seniors,” Mr. DuBose said. “We anticipate this important feature of the event to continue as more of our graduates enter college to prepare for a career in the green industry,” he added.
Registration for the tournament will begin at 8 AM followed by the Shotgun Start at 9 AM. Lunch will be served at noon and an Awards Ceremony and Auction will begin at 2 PM.
