ABBEVILLE FFA PARLIAMENTARY PROCEDURE TEAM TAKES TOP STATE HONORS
COLUMBIA, SC…The Abbeville FFA Parliamentary Procedure Team took first place honors in the state finals held in conjunction with the SC FFA Convention at Clemson University recently, according to John W. Parris, director of public affairs with the SC FFA organization.
Team members Millie Jones, Tyler Brown, Jason Maddox, Tyler South, Jessica Parker and Joey Gilliam along with their Advisor, Fred Raines, Agricultural Education teacher at Abbeville High School, were awarded expense-paid trips to the National FFA Convention scheduled later this year in Indianapolis, Indiana, to compete in the national finals.
The mission of the FFA is to make a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
