The event, co-sponsored by Union High School’s Agricultural Education Department headed by Cleveland Jackson, was well represented by local FFA members and Union County Young Farmer-Agribusiness Association members.

The show featured a large display of restored antique farm tractors and other farm equipment and instruments. Other interesting exhibits included a blacksmith shop, a stone-ground corn mill, a portable sawmill, an old-fashioned cooking demonstration, a quilt show and farm animals, just to name a few.

“Agricultural Educator Cleveland Jackson, FFA members, and Young Farmer-Agribusiness Association members in Union County are to be commended for their co-sponsorship of this successful event in celebration of agricultural history,” Mr. Parris said.
