COLUMBIA, SC….Flint Holbrook, a sophomore at Clover High School where he serves as vice president of the FFA chapter, has been named recipient of the South Carolina Cooperative Council’s Outstanding Youth Award for 2007, according to John W. Parris, state director of public affairs with the SC FFA Association. The award was presented by Marie Stiles, executive director of the Council.
Holbrook represented the South Carolina Cooperative Council at the Regional Cooperative Youth Leadership Conference held at the State FFA Center in White Lake, North Carolina, and the National Institute of Cooperative Education held at Shippensburg University in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, in 2006.
His parents, Flint and Beverly Holbrook of Clover, and brother, Nathan, along with his FFA Advisor Carrie C. Bolin, Agri-Science and Technology Instructor at Clover High School, and Jesse Miskelly, a Clemson University senior majoring in Agricultural Education who is practice teaching at Clover, attended the SC Cooperative Council Awards and Recognition event in Columbia on March 15.
