Clemson University Agricultural Education Administrative staff planned and coordinated the event with assistance from members of the Clemson Collegiate FFA Organization.

“The primary objective of this agricultural engineering-related competition is to provide students an opportunity to demonstrate their skill in operating a tractor and implement while practicing appropriate safety measures,” Parris said. “Teaching students to properly operate a tractor in a safe manner is a part of the agricultural engineering curriculum in many agricultural education departments throughout South Carolina”, he added.

The mission of the FFA is to make a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
