BLYTHEWOOD FFA FEATURED ON TV NEWS SHOW
COLUMBIA, SC…Blythewood High School FFA members along with FFA Advisor Tom Willingham were featured on the two-hour WIS-TV Morning News Show “Live With Lucas,” Thursday, November 1, 2007, hosted by Newscaster Lucas McFadden, according to John W. Parris, state director of public affairs with the SC FFA Organization. The show originated from the campus of Blythewood High School.
One news segment provided Mr. Willingham an opportunity to discuss the observance of Farm-City Week in Richland County which he chairs. The Farm-City observance, held the week before Thanksgiving, is designed to emphasize the importance and interdependence of rural and urban sectors of our society.
Other segments of the show included demonstrations and discussions of the equine industry by members of the Blythewood High School Equine Club.
