ABBEVILLE FFA TEAM AWARDED TRIPS TO NATIONAL CONVENTION
CLEMSON, SC…The Abbeville FFA Knowledge Bowl Team took first place honors in the state finals held in conjunction with State FFA Convention at Clemson University recently, according to John W. Parris, state director of public affairs with the SC FFA organization.
Team members Katie Simpson, Kristy Durham, Devon Herron and Jennifer Haynie along with FFA advisor Fred Raines, Agricultural Education Instructor at Abbeville High School, were awarded expense-paid trips by the SC FFA Foundation to attend the National FFA Convention set for Indianapolis, Indiana in October.
The mission of the FFA is to make a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
