MYRTLE BEACH FFA GOLF TOURNAMENT
MYRTLE BEACH, SC…The 11 th annual Myrtle Beach FFA Golf Tournament will be held January 24, 2009, at the Quail Creek Golf Club located off Highway 501 at the Coastal Carolina University and Horry-Georgetown Technical College, Conway/Myrtle Beach, according to John W. Parris, state director of public affairs with the SC FFA organization.
Registration for the tournament which will be Captain’s Choice begins at 8:00 AM followed by Shotgun Start at 9:00 AM. Lunch will be served from 12:00 noon until 2:00 PM. An awards ceremony and auction will conclude the event.
Proceeds from this tournament go directly to support the agriculture, horticulture and golf course programs at Carolina Forest High School.. This event has enabled the Myrtle Beach FFA Chapter at Carolina Forest High School to award 37 scholarships to deserving seniors.
