COLUMBIA, SC….K. Flint Holbrook, a rising senior at Clover High School and an active member of the Clover FFA Chapter, took first place honors in the State FFA Extemporaneous Speaking Finals held in conjunction with the recent State FFA Convention at Clemson University, according to John W. Parris, state director of public affairs with the state FFA organization.
“ Flint was awarded an expense-paid trip to the 2008 National FFA Convention by Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton, Georgia, in concert with the SC FFA Foundation to compete in the national finals,” Mr. Parris said.
Recently elected State FFA President, Flint is the son of Flint and Beverly Holbrook of Clover. His FFA advisor is Carrie C. Bolin, agricultural education instructor at Clover High School.
