LATTA FFA TEAM TO COMPETE IN NATIONAL FINALS

COLUMBIA, SC….The Latta High School FFA Farm Business Management Team took first place honors in the state finals held in conjunction with the state FFA convention at Clemson University, according to John W. Parris, state director of public affairs with the SC FFA organization.

Team members Daniel Vance, Kate Allen, Kerry Lee Cox and Jessie Brown along with FFA advisor Aaron Miles, Agricultural Education Instructor at the high school, were awarded expense-paid trips to the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana later this year to compete in the National Finals. Kate Allen was the third high scorer in the state competition.

Wagener-Salley team members Kyle Clark, Brittany Howard and Katie Chew took state runner-up honors. Their advisor is Allen Williams, Agricultural Education Instructor at Wagener-Salley High School.

Loris team members Jason Todd, Raffaela Breininger, Jarrett Johnson and Gordon Best placed third in the state finals. Their advisor is Nate Bellamy, Agricultural Education Instructor at Loris High School.
