CLOVER FFA LIVESTOCK TEAM IN NATIONAL FINALS

Clover FFA Livestock Evaluation team members Brittany Stewart, Leslie McGill, Lauren McGill and Jennifer Haas took first place honors in the state finals held at Clemson University in April.

The Clover students and FFA Advisor Carrie Bolin were awarded expense-paid trips to the National FFA Convention by the SC FFA Foundation to compete in the national finals.

York students Kelly Howell, Sarah Comer, Hannah Whitesides and Mary Hall made State Runner-Up team with Sarah Comer as the high scorer in the event. Frank Sandifer is the FFA advisor for the York Chapter.

Third place honors went to Crescent team members Danae Hicks, Samantha Gillett, Haden Jones who was the second high individual scorer, and Jacob Rosado. They were coached by Roger Estridge, an FFA advisor at Crescent.

Hillcrest FFA member Morgan Whitfield was the third high scorer.
