MCFADDEN RECEIVES TOP STATE FFA AWARD

COLUMBIA, SC….Lucas McFadden, Co-anchor and Producer for CN2 TV News in Rock Hill, has been awarded the Honorary State FFA Degree by the SC FFA Association, according to John W. Parris, state director of public affairs with the organization. The station serves York, Chester and Lancaster counties.

The presentation was made to Mr. McFadden by State FFA President Flint Holbrook of Clover at a recent ceremony held in the CN2 TV News studios in Rock Hill.

“Mr. McFadden was selected to receive the award for his exemplary promotion of the FFA while working as news reporter for WIS-TV in Columbia and more recently with CN2 TV,” Parris said. “This is the highest award presented to a friend or supporter of the FFA at the state level,” he added.

A native of Fort Lawn, Mr. McFadden graduated from Lewisville High School and received a degree from USC-Lancaster. He completed his higher education pursuits at the College of Charleston. He and his wife, Kati, reside in Rock Hill.

The mission of the FFA is to make a positive difference in the lives of members by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
