ARIEL FOX NAMED MISS SOUTH CAROLINA FFA
COLUMBIA, SC….Ariel Fox, a senior at Batesburg-Leesville High School where she is serving as president of the FFA organization, was crowned South Carolina Miss FFA at a pageant held at Crescent High School, Iva, on January 29, 2009. She competed against 31 contestants from FFA chapters throughout the state.
The pageant is planned and coordinated by the Crescent High School FFA members and advisors. They are assisted by numerous volunteers in the community. The event is also supported by a number of major sponsors.
Other pageant titles she holds are Miss Batesburg-Leesville Relay for Life; Miss Liberty, Miss Liberty in the Independence Day, Ridge Spring; Miss Batesburg-Leesville Sportsarama, Miss Winter Wonderland, Prosperity; and Miss Batesburg-Leesville Panther.
Finalists in the Miss FFA pageant include Olivia Brown, Wren High School, Signature Princes; Rose McCollum, Easley High School, Humanitarian Award; Jane Snead, Belton-Honea Path High School, Second Runner-Up; Annakate Waters, Westside High School, first Runner-Up; Carolyn Cruise, Belton-Honea Path High School,Miss Congeniality; and Chelsea Jones, Hillcrest High School, First Runner-Up.
The pageant was planned and coordinated by Crescent High School FFA members and advisors along with valuable assistance from community volunteers. The event is also supported by a number of major sponsors.
